Enduring Power of Attorney Pack

An Enduring Power of Attorney allows you to appoint Attorneys to look after your affairs should you become mentally incapable of looking after them yourself. The Enduring Power can only be set-up whilst you are mentally capable of doing so. It cannot be left until you begin to lose your mental capacity.

The pack contains:

• The Enduring Power of Attorney complete with instructions. This can be cancelled at any time before it is registered.
• 3 Notices of the Intention to Register the Enduring Power of Attorney with the Court of Protection/Public Trust Office. These are to be sent to the Donor (the person who has made the Enduring Power) and the nearest relatives.
• The Application to the Court of Protection. (Please note that after the 28th February 2003 the existing double sided form will no longer be accepted by the Court of Protection. This is superseded by a new 6 page form that is now included in the pack. Should you have an old Application Form, a new one will be necessary and can be ordered from us).
